A little bit about me…

Hello! I’m Sarah. I’m a Chilean-American marriage and family therapist specializing in trauma-informed, culturally sensitive psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. I have made it my life’s work to sit with people in their deepest sorrows and greatest joys with mindfulness, non-judgment, and unquenchable curiosity.

MY THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

ANALYTICAL

I listen carefully to help uncover unconscious beliefs, including how echoes of our past experiences show up in the present.

INTEGRATIVE

I approach healing from the full matrix of this human experience, including but not limited to mind, body, and spirit

SYSTEM-ORIENTED

I support the process of unpacking and dismantling how systems - family, community, institutions, and social systems - can foster disconnection from other and self.

I believe we all have the inner capacity to heal and I see my job not as healer but as a human being cultivating a space for people to find the healer within themselves.

WHERE DO I START?

The healing journey starts with you and there’s no right or wrong way to begin. When you are ready, I offer free phone consultations where we can talk about your hopes for therapy and I can answer any questions you might have about the process.
